It’s the service that informs the subscribers through an SMS the number of calls missed during the time his/her Mero Mobile phone was switched off. The Missed Call Service (MCS) is the right option if you do not use Voicemail as it captures the caller ID of incoming calls when you are out of coverage/network or you are un-contactable. It then sends you an SMS message to your mobile phone that includes the captured Caller ID, date and time of the missed call.

As this service sends an SMS with missed call details, you can then immediately run a call, or wait for a more convenient time.

Missed call notification can only be activated and deactivated using your mobile phone.

• Never miss an important call when no diversions are set on your mobile phone.
• Receive an SMS message of missed calls to your mobile phone, make it quick and easy for you to return a call or send an SMS message.
• The SMS message will display as; the caller’s number, the number of time this caller called, the last time the caller called and the date for example: 9802042465(3),1:40,6/7/2007).
• If numerous of missed call captured you may receive more than one SMS message regarding missed calls.

How to active Missed Call Notification Service?

Missed Call Service (MCS) call can be activated in your phone by setting up +9779809980000 in your missed call settings, to do so activate or turn on "Call Forwarding (Call Divert)" function and write +977 980 9980000 in the sub-menu "Forwarding (divert) if not reachable, to other number".

Please do know, once you activate Missed Call service, "if not reachable" call forwarding to another number or forwarding to Voice mail will be automatically deactivated.

How to Deactivate Missed Call Service?

To deactivate the service you need to dial ##002# and press "OK" or "send" button, this will cancel all types of call forwarding.

Cost

It’s free of charge. There is no charge for delivering a short message containing the missed calls list. Also there is no monthly charge and there is not even charge for turning it OFF.

Charges will only apply if you have diverted the call to another number or person’s.
